Everyone at Kindred Sole HQ couldn’t wait to see Lady Gaga’s entrance as we knew it would be from the sublime to the ridiculous however no one could have anticipated her grand entrance. Yes that’s right, Lady Gaga entered the Grammys red carpet in a giant egg being carried by models. Lady Gaga was unable to speak on the red carpet as we were told she was in incubation – she eventually hatched to perform her new single ‘Born This Way’. We think she may of topped last year’s meat dress! But the star did get three out of her six awards she was nominated for.

Another fashion muse who caught everyone’s attention was eccentric rapper Nicki Minaj. She is known for her outlandish fashion style and for always making a fashion statement. Nicki Minaj literally looked fierce in a head to toe leopard print look right from the dress to the shoes to even her gloves. This was thanks to Givenchy. Whilst being interviewed on the red carpet she said it only took her a couple of hours to get ready and that her hair stylist made her leopard print wig the night before.

Now for the biggest fashion trend of the Grammys 2011 – metallic dresses! In true Grammys glitz and glam styles, stars took to the red carpet and shined! We love Selena Gomez simple gold floor length dress by J Mendel. We thought Kim Kardashian sparkled in a shimmering gold Kaufman Franco gown styled with jewels by Lorraine Schwartz and peep toe heels. One thing that I love more then chocolate is clothes. I would purchase one of everything, if I had the money. I always love to check out the up coming styles of the season. I happen to be peeking around today and thought hmmmm, I know it is still winter but I think I will dig for some spring fashion. Here are some trends I have found.

Early 60′s

60′s dresses will be coming to a department store near you. It won’t be the late 60′s look into the 70′s when dresses started getting slinky, but more like the 50′s into early 60′s. This is when we as women brave to finally say ok enough with the potato sack look, I have legs and feet and I am ready to show them off. Just not a lot but a little. Women had a more classy dress back in the late 50′s and early 60′s. Do not panic you aren’t going to look like a prude or your stuffy Aunt Martha they do not look that bad.

My take on these dresses I like them it is about time we get our younger generation into some more fabric. I am so sick of seeing young girls behinds sticking out, and not to mention their baby fat bulging out of the tops of their pants. So moms across the globe I bet you will be happy with these dresses, I know if I had a daughter I would be.
70′s Are Making A Come Back
